Inge Jorgensen Dominates Javelin Competition at UTEP Twilight

Virginia’s Inge Jorgensen dominated the javelin competition today at the UTEP Twilight meet, as all six of her throws were farther than the second-place finisher, and she defeated the runner up by over 41 feet. With the title already secure, Jorgensen still threw her longest throw of the day with her sixth and final throw.

Jorgensen won her fifth title of the year and she has been undefeated in the javelin since March. She has already qualified for the NCAA East Regional meet, which will take place at the University of Florida April 28-29.
