Tuscaloosa, Ala. – The Virginia men’s tennis team fared well at two tournaments this past weekend hosted by SEC schools. The Cavaliers had three players compete at the Crimson Tide Invitational in Tuscaloosa, Ala. and two players at the UT Fall Classic in Knoxville, Tenn.
At the Crimson Tide Invitational, the Cavaliers had two players advance far in the Flight A singles draw. Second-year Marko Miklo (Bratislava, Slovakia) advanced to the final and first-year Treat Huey (Alexandria, Va.) advanced to the semifinals.
At the UT Fall Classic, there was no tournament bracket, but instead round-robin play. First-year Jarrett Chirico (Sarasota, Fla.) posted a perfect 3-0 singles record and third-year Stephen Rozek (Chardon, Ohio) went 2-1 in singles play.
