Cavalier Sports Weekly to Air Special Bowl Preview Show

Cavalier Sports Weekly, the 30-minute television show that chronicles UVA athletes and events, will be airing a special Bowl Preview Show this weekend. In anticipation of the Cavaliers’ trip to the MPC Computers Bowl in Boise, Idaho, the show will feature an in-depth look at the match-up between UVA and the Fresno State Bulldogs. Hosted by senior All-ACC tailback Alvin Pearman, this week’s Cavalier Sports Weekly includes a heartfelt tribute to the fourth and fifth-year seniors, a countdown of the football team’s favorite plays of the year, a talk with this year’s first-team All-ACC selections, and a conversation with Pete Gillen and Debbie Ryan on the men’s and women’s basketball seasons so far.

Cavalier Sports Weekly airs Sundays regionally on Comcast Sports Net at 12:30pm, locally on WVIR NBC 29 (Charlottesville) at 10am, WRLH Fox TV (Richmond) at 11:30am, and WSET ABC TV (Lynchburg/Roanoke/Danville) at Noon, and nationally on College Sports TV on Tuesdays at 5:30pm.

Viewers are reminded that Cavalier Sports Weekly will not air on December 26th and January 2nd, but will return to its normal schedule on January 9th.
