Virginia Baseball Reschedules Game With Richmond For A Second Time

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The University of Virginia baseball team has rescheduled its game with the Richmond Spiders for the second time this week. Virginia and Richmond were originally scheduled to play on Tuesday, March 1st at 2:30 PM at Pitt Field in Richmond, Va before the contest was rescheduled for Wednesday, March 2nd at 2:30 PM. After two attempts to play the game, the contest has been rescheduled for a second time. The new make-up date for the game is Tuesday, May 3rd at 3:00 PM.

Virginia defeated Richmond 14-6 in the last meeting between the two schools on March 2nd, 2004 in Richmond, Va.. The Cavaliers have won the last two meetings with the Spiders.
