Tilley Finishes Match Play at U.S. Amateur

ARDMORE, Pa. – Virginia senior Brad Tilley (Chappaqua, N.Y.) completed match play at the 2005 U.S. Amateur, held at the Merion Golf Club on Thursday.

Tilley was eliminated in second round action by Jon-Michael Socaris (USA) as he finished 2 up.

Match play at the U.S. Amateur continues through Sunday, August 28 at the historic Merion Golf Club in suburban Philadelphia.

Virginia opens its fall slate at Tennessee’s Tournament of Champions on Sept. 12.
