Kickoff for Virginia-Va.Tech Game Set for Noon

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Kickoff for the Virginia football game with Virginia Tech on Nov. 19 has been set for Noon at the Carl Smith Center, home of David A. Harrison III Field at Scott Stadium.

ESPN will televise the game nationally.

The game is the first football event between the two schools in the Commonwealth Challenge, presented by Adelphia. Currently, Virginia holds a 6-1 lead in the all-sports competition. The football game is worth two points in the challenge.

The Cavaliers (5-3, 2-3 ACC) host No. 24 Georgia Tech (6-2, 4-2 ACC) this week. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. on ABC.
