Cavalier Sports Weekly to Air this Week

The second season of the award-winning Cavalier Sports Weekly, presented by the Virginia Lottery, continues Sunday, December 4th. The fast-paced, half-hour program provides comprehensive coverage of Virginia Athletics. Cavalier Sports Weekly can be seen regionally each Sunday at 12:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet. The program will also air on the new ABC, CBS and FOX affiliates in Charlottesville, on FOX 35 Richmond and on WSET-TV ABC 13 in Danville, Lynchburg, and Roanoke.

Junior women’s basketball player Brenna McGuire will host the show. The program will feature highlights and analysis of the men’s basketball team’s games against Arizona and Northwestern, including an exclusive peek into the team locker room. The show will feature sophomore safety Nate Lyles as he discusses his love of hard-hitting football and the status of his neck injury suffered against Georgia Tech. Also included are highlights from this year’s All-ACC football selections and the game story from the women’s basketball team’s contest against Harvard.
