Cavalier Sports Weekly to Air this Week

The second season of the award-winning Cavalier Sports Weekly, presented by the Virginia Lottery, continues Sunday, February 29th. The fast-paced, half-hour program provides comprehensive coverage of Virginia Athletics. Cavalier Sports Weekly can be seen regionally each Sunday at 12:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet. The program will also air on the new ABC, CBS and FOX affiliates in Charlottesville, on FOX 35 Richmond and on WSET-TV ABC 13 in Danville, Lynchburg, and Roanoke.
Senior men’s tennis player Nick Meythaler will host the show. The program will feature highlights, analysis, and exclusive footage from the men’s basketball team’s games against Maryland and Virginia Tech. The show will spotlight junior Jason Cain and the sixth-ranked men’s tennis team. Also included is a tribute to the 1995 UVA men’s basketball team and their upset win over #2 North Carolina at U-Hall.
