Tallahasee, FL – Led by three even-par scores of 72 during Monday’s second round, the Virginia men’s golf team moved up to eighth at Florida State’s Seminole Intercollegiate.

Eamonn McLoughlin, Brad Tilley and Andrea Signor all posted a 72 and Conrad Von Borsig added a 75 to help UVa to a second-round team score of 3-over 291. Virginia shot 293 during Sunday’s opening round. The Cavaliers’ 36-hole total of 8-over 584 is tied with Northwestern for eighth on the leaderboard.

McLoughlin is 11th overall at 1-under 143 while Tilley is one shot back in 18th place. Signor’s 146 finds him at 26th while Von Borsig is 50th at 151 and Kefale is 56th at 153.

East Tennessee State widened its lead thanks to a second-round score of 10-under 278. The 11th-ranked Buccaneers have a two-day total of 16-under 560. Coastal Carolina is in second place at 565 followed by NC State at 574 and North Carolina at 575.

Coastal Carolina’s Dustin Johnson will take a two-shot lead into the final round. With scores of 66 and 67, he stands at 11-under 133, two shots ahead of North Carolina’s Martin Ureta.

The Seminole Intercollegiate is Virginia’s first event of the Spring Season. It concludes Tuesday.
