Cavalier Sports Weekly to Air this Week

The second season of the award-winning Cavalier Sports Weekly, presented by the Virginia Lottery, continues Sunday, March 12th. The fast-paced, half-hour program provides comprehensive coverage of Virginia Athletics. Cavalier Sports Weekly can be seen regionally each Sunday at 12:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet. The program will also air on the new ABC, CBS and FOX affiliates in Charlottesville, on FOX 35 Richmond and on WSET-TV ABC 13 in Danville, Lynchburg, and Roanoke.

Senior men’s swim and dive team captain Fran Crippen will host the show. The program will feature highlights, analysis, and exclusive footage from the men’s basketball team’s ACC Tournament games against Virginia Tech and North Carolina. The show will spotlight first-team All-ACC selection Sean Singletary and the men’s lacrosse attack unit. Also included is coverage of the Last Ball in U-Hall, the women’s lacrosse team’s defeat of Maryland, and baseball’s series against Georgia Tech.
