Cavalier Sports Weekly to Air this Week

The second season of the award-winning Cavalier Sports Weekly, presented by the Virginia Lottery, continues Sunday, March 19th. The fast-paced, half-hour program provides comprehensive coverage of Virginia Athletics. Cavalier Sports Weekly can be seen regionally each Sunday at 12:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet. The program will also air on the new ABC, CBS and FOX affiliates in Charlottesville, on FOX 35 Richmond and on WSET-TV ABC 13 in Danville, Lynchburg, and Roanoke.

Senior women’s lacrosse midfielder Kim Connors will host the show. The program will feature highlights and analysis from the men’s basketball team’s NIT Tournament game against Stanford and the women’s WNIT game against St. Joseph’s. The show will spotlight All-ACC selection Sharnee Zoll of the women’s basketball team. Also included is coverage of baseball’s home series against second-ranked Clemson and an inside look at the #2 UVA men’s lacrosse team.
