UVa Baseball Cancels Tuesday Game with Liberty; Set to Face Marshall Wednesday

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – – The University of Virginia Baseball Team has cancelled its home game with in-state foe Liberty scheduled for Tues., Mar. 21, due to the threat of inclement weather in the Charlottesville area. The Cavaliers have added a single game with Marshall to be played Wed., Mar. 22, at Davenport Field at the UVa Baseball Stadium. First-pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
Tickets originally issued for the Liberty game will be valid for the Marshall game. Ticketing questions can be answered by contacting the UVa Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-542-8821. Parking is available in the University Hall lots.
Virginia is coming off a three-game sweep of then No. 2 Clemson. The Cavaliers cracked the Top 25 in college baseball polls. UVa is ranked No. 21 by Collegiate Baseball and 24th by Baseball America. Rosenblattreport.com has the Cavaliers No. 22.
