CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – – The Virginia Baseball team continued to move up in college baseball polls after winning its second straight Atlantic Coast Conference series, taking two games from Wake Forest. The Cavaliers are No. 14 in Collegiate Baseball, No. 18 in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll, 23rd in Baseball America and 23rd in the National Collegiate Baseball Writer’s Association (NCBWA) Poll. SEBaseball.com has UVa as the 14th best team in the nation, while the Hoos are 15th in the Rosenblattreport.com poll. Seven ACC teams are ranked this week in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll.

Virginia wraps up its 10-game home-stand when the Cavaliers host Coppin State at 4 p.m. Tuesday and Norfolk State at 5 p.m. Wednesday. UVa will face its fourth consecutive ranked ACC team this weekend when the Cavaliers travel to No. 17 NC State.
