The Virginia men’s tennis team will host first and second round play of the 2006 NCAA Tournament this weekend at the Snyder Tennis Center. The Cavaliers, the No. 8 seed in the tournament, hosts Army on Saturday at 10:00 a.m., with Wake Forest taking on Kentucky in Saturday’s second match.

This season marks the third consecutive season Virginia has hosted a regional. In each of the last two seasons, the Cavaliers won both home matches to advance to the round of 16.

Admission for the tournament is free. Due to the large number of athletic events on grounds this weekend, fans are encouraged to park in the areas listed here.

All matches for this weekend’s regional are slated for the Snyder Tennis Center. However, if there is inclement weather, matches could be moved indoors to the Boyd Tinsley Courts at the Boar’s Head Sports Club. If matches are moved indoors, a notice will be posted at virginiasports.com.
