Charlottesville, VA – Two members of the Cavalier men’s golf team have been named to the Virginia State Golf Coaches all-state squad. Senior Brad Tilley earned first-team honors while freshman Daniel Kefale was a second-team pick.

Tilley, from Chappaqua, N.Y., compiled a 73.48 stroke average for the season to lead the Cavaliers. He won the Cavalier Classic and finished third at the Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate.

Kefale appeared in six tournaments and was second on the team with a 73.72 stroke average. His best outing was an eighth-place finish at the Hackler Invitational. He also recorded the team’s low round of the season, carding a 65 at the Hooties at Bulls Bay tournament.
