Charlottesville, VA – The Virginia men’s golf team will play in Notre Dame’s inaugural Gridiron Golf Classic Monday and Tuesday at the Warren Golf Course on the Notre Dame campus. The 54-hole event will feature two rounds on Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday. Monday’s play begins with a shotgun start at 9:15 a.m.

Cavalier coach Bowen Sargent’s lineup will include Conrad Von Borsig, Daniel Kefale, Greg Carlin, Eamonn McLoughlin and Kyle Stough. Von Borsig leads UVa with a 74.33 stroke average. He led the Cavaliers with a 22nd-place finish at the Shoal Creek Invitational in the team’s last outing.

The Gridiron Classic marks the start of a busy week for the Cavaliers. Next weekend the team travels to Johnson City, Tenn., for The Ridges Invitational.

The Gridiron Golf Classic field features Augusta State, Baylor, the College of Charleston, Florida State, Illinois State, Lamar, Louisiana-Monroe, Rice, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Western Kentucky.
