WCAV-CBS19, WVAW-ABC16, WAHU-FOX27 TV Stations to Air UVa Hoops Preview Show

Charlottesville, VA – An hour-long television show previewing the 2006-07 Virginia men’s and women’s basketball teams will be shown this month on three Charlottesville area television stations – WCAV-CBS19, WVAW-ABC16 and WAHU-FOX27.
The show features exclusive one-on-one interviews with men’s head coach Dave Leitao and women’s head coach Debbie Ryan, an in-depth look at new players on both teams, and a tour of the John Paul Jones Arena with J.R. Reynolds and Sean Singletary. The program also takes a look back at the 2005-06 seasons for both teams and a look ahead to the teams’ 2006-07 seasons.
The preview program will debut on Saturday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m. on WVAW-ABC16. The show will be rebroadcast on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 5 p.m. on WCAV-CBS19 and on Saturday, Oct. 28, at noon on WAHU-Fox27.
Sports anchors Marc Davis, J.W. Stehle and Dave Strumpf are the hosts of the program.
The three television stations are the flagship television partners for Virginia Athletics.
