Graham Tribble Wins 3000m at Mid-Atlantic Clash

RICHMOND, Va. – Graham Tribble ran a lifetime best 8:42.85 en route to winning the 3000m at the St. Christopher’s Mid-Atlantic Clash today in Richmond. Teammate James Erickson finished just behind him in third, running a season-best 8:44.06, while Matt Gutridge was fifth in 8:51.04. Steve Finley and Danny Howick both had lifetime best marks in the mile; Finley was the top collegiate finisher. Finley ran a 4:15.31 for second overall while Howick was right behind him in 4:15.86, finishing fourth overall.
Jen Dolson took fourth in the mile with her 5:13.33, while teammate Erin Klein was right behind her with a 5:15.64 in fifth. Virginia’s men went 3-5 in the 800 as Brian Dixon ran 1:58.97 and Ryan Murphy ran a 2:00.01.
