Charlottesville, VA – Today the Cavalier football program announced 24 student-athletes have signed national letters of intent to play football at Virginia. The list of signees is below along with bios of each player and video files including comments from UVa head coach Al Groh.

Football Season Tickets
Renewal applications for Virginia football season tickets will be mailed March 16. Applications for season tickets on the Internet will also begin that day. Applications for new season tickets will be accepted beginning March 16 online at virginiasports.com or by calling the Virginia athletics ticket office. Season ticket prices for 2007 are $230, the same as the 2006 season ticket price. The renewal and priority deadline for season ticket applications is April 27. Any single-game tickets available to the general public will go on sale July 16. For more information on Cavalier football tickets, visit the ticketing section of virginiasports.com or call the Virginia athletics ticket office at 1-800-542-8821 or 434/924-8821. The UVa athletics ticket office is open to the public weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The Spring Football Festival
The 2007 Virginia Spring Football Festival will take place Saturday, April 14 at Scott Stadium. Admission and parking for the event are free. Gates open at 12 noon for fans to enjoy interactive games. The Virginia football team will take the field at 2 p.m.
