Charlottesville, VA – Single-game ticket sales for Virginia’s 2007 home football games will begin Friday with an online sale. In-person sales and telephone orders will start Monday. In addition to select home games, tickets will also be available for UVa’s road games (starting Monday) and fans can continue to purchase complete season ticket packages and a three-game mini-pack.

There will not be a single-game sale for the Nov. 24 home game with Virginia Tech. Those tickets only remain available through the purchase of a UVa season ticket package.

The online ticket sale will start at 5 p.m. Friday at www.virginiasports.com. In-person or telephone purchases will begin Monday at 9 a.m. by calling 1-800-542-UVA1 (8821) or locally at 434-924-UVA1 (8821) or in person at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium.

Single-game tickets will be available for the Sept. 8 home opener vs. Duke, the Oct. 13 Homecomings contest with Connecticut and the remaining home games against Georgia Tech on Sept. 22, Pittsburgh on Sept. 29 and Wake Forest on Nov. 3. The Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh and Wake Forest game can also be purchased together as a three-game mini pack.

Tickets are $35 for Duke and Connecticut. The single-game tickets for Georgia Tech, Pitt and Wake Forest are $42. Tickets are also available for away football games at Wyoming ($28), North Carolina ($40), Middle Tennessee State ($24) Maryland ($42), NC State ($42) and Miami ($47) and will go on sale to the general public Monday, July 16 at 9 a.m.

Approximately 39,000 season tickets have been sold for the 2007 football season, with a limited number of tickets remaining.
