Charlottesville, VA The Virginia athletics department announced today that Saturday’s Homecomings game against undefeated Connecticut is sold out. The Cavaliers bring a five-game winning streak into Saturday’s 3:30 p.m. contest that will be broadcast by ESPNU. At 5-0, Connecticut is one of just 11 undefeated teams remaining in the nation.

The UConn game is UVa’s second sellout this season. The Cavaliers Nov. 24 season finale against Virginia Tech is also sold out.

Football season ticket holders and purchasers of single game tickets to the Virginia football game vs. Connecticut are eligible to receive up to six (6) complimentary reserved seat tickets to “Homecomings 2007 featuring Morris Day & The Time.” This event is Friday, Oct. 12 at the John Paul Jones Arena. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the program begins at 7:30 p.m. with the introduction of the Virginia football and men’s and women’s basketball teams. Tickets may be claimed for this event online at www.virginiasports.com or by calling the UVa athletics ticket office at 1-800-542-UVA1.

A limited number of tickets are available for Virginia’s Nov. 3 home game against defending ACC Champion Wake Forest. Reserved seats are $42 and may be purchased online at, www.virginiasports.com, or by calling the UVa athletics ticket office at 1-800-542-UVA1 (8821). Fans can also order in person at the athletics ticket office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
