Donor and Season Ticket Holder Priority Sales and Allocation
Buy Bowl Tickets
- Donors and season ticket holders may order tickets during the priority period of December 3, 4, and 5.
- Credit card numbers (MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover) will be required to order (request) tickets. If demand exceeds the supply, refunds will be given for orders not filled.
- Donors and season ticket holders that do not order during the priority period of December 3, 4, and 5 will not receive priority during the allocation of tickets.
- Should the demand exceed the supply of tickets, notification will be sent by email only on Thursday, December 6 notifying patrons about the status of their bowl ticket orders.
- Donors who order tickets during the priority period will be seated in Virginia Athletics Foundation priority point order. Season ticket holders will be seated ahead of general public ticket orders randomly.
- Virginia Athletics Foundation annual giving levels have been used to determine who may purchase premium seating options (club seats) or higher price levels. Please log on to your account first when ordering online to see what price levels you have access to purchase. For phone ticket orders your annual giving level will be verified for premium seating options at the time of purchase.
General Public Sales and Allocation

- The general public (includes alumni) may order tickets during the priority period of December 3, 4, and 5.
- Credit card numbers (MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover) will be required to order (request) tickets. If demand exceeds the supply, refunds will be given for orders not filled.
- Should the demand exceed the supply of tickets, notification will be sent by email only on Thursday, December 6 notifying patrons about the status of their bowl ticket orders.
- All general public patrons who order tickets during the priority period of December 3, 4, and 5 will be seated after donors and season ticket holders on a date-received basis.
Student Sales and Allocation
- Student request for tickets will be accepted by logging on to virginiasports.com and then accessing ticket sales through the uvashots.com ticket system.
- Email sent to registered students on the shots system notifying them of the requests period of December 3, 4, and 5.
- Orders will follow the same process as student guest ticket sales with a lottery in place if demand exceeds the supply of student priced tickets. Student ticket requests may be limited per student account if demand is higher than anticipated.
- A specific student section will be set aside for sale to students.
- If necessary the student lottery will be run on December 6 to determine which student ticket orders (requests) are filled.
- Students will be notified of the outcome of the lottery by email through uvashots.com.
- Students that receive tickets must log on to uvashots.com and claim and pay (credit card only) for their tickets on Thursday, December 6 and Friday, December 7.
- Students may begin picking up their tickets from the Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall beginning Monday, December 10 at 9:00 am.
- Seat locations are first-come, first-serve with in the designated student section. Student must present student ID and the purchase claim voucher to pick up tickets.
