CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. Virginia swimmer Jessica Lewis was selected as the women’s Atlantic Coast Conference Performer of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Picking up her first weekly league honor of the season, Lewis captured first place in two individual events and was part of the winning 200 freestyle relay. The fourth year from Allentown, Pa., won the 100 and 200 freestyle posting an NCAA “B” cut in the 100 free (50.69). Her times in the 100 free and the 200 free relay (1:33.02) were also the best marks in the league last week.
