Today’s attendance was 3,042.

The 48-point margin of victory is the largest of the year for the Cavaliers and the most in John Paul Jones Arena. The previous mark was a 40-point win against Cleveland State on Dec. 16, 2006.

Today was the first meeting between Virginia and Fairleigh Dickinson.

UVa is 17-7 all-time in John Paul Jones Arena. UVa also extended its home winning streak to three games.

All 10 Cavaliers who stepped on the court today scored.

Virginia shot 50 percent from the floor (30-60 vs. FDU) for the second consecutive game.

Third year Britnee Millner made her first career start today against the Knights. Millner finished with a season-best seven points and set career-highs in assists (five) and rebounds (eight).

Kristen London also set a personal-best with nine points against the Knights. She hit all three shots she took from 3-point range.

Teammate Tara McKnight set a season-high with six points as well.

Monica Wright, who put up 17 points against Fairleigh Dickinson, scored in the double digits for the sixth consecutive game.

The Cavaliers outrebounded FDU, 43-34, and have outrebounded seven of their nine opponents on the year.

Enong Stovall returned to the court after missing six games because of injury. She finished with one point in two minutes of action.

Virginia hits the road for a 7 p.m. contest at Connecticut Wednesday.
