CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) – Mamadi Diane had 20 points and nine rebounds and Adrian Joseph added 15 points and 12 rebounds to lead Virginia to a 78-70 win over Hartford on Sunday.

Virginia (10-2) grabbed the lead early in the first half and never let go, leading 41-28 at the half.

Diane was 6 of 8 from the field and went 4-for-5 on 3-pointers and Joseph posted his fifth double-double of the season. Sean Singletary added 12 points, scoring in double figures for the 34th consecutive game, the longest active streak in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Calvin Baker also scored 12 points for Virginia.

Joe Zeglinski and Jaret Von Rosenberg each had 15 points and Kevin Estes added 12 for the Hawks (5-9).

The Cavaliers shot 44 percent from the field to Hartford’s 36 percent, and outrebounded the Hawks 51-40.
