Charlottesville, VA – The Virginia athletics department will host its annual “Virginia Fall Sports Experience” on Sunday, Aug. 17. The event allows children and fans of all ages the opportunity to interact and receive skill instruction from UVa student-athletes and coaches in the sports of cross country, field hockey, soccer and volleyball.

The Virginia Fall Sports Experience takes place at the University Hall Turf Field. Virginia’s student-athletes will provide skill instruction in their respective sports and will also be available for photos and autographs from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Fans will be able to pick up 2008 schedule posters and schedule cards for cross country, field hockey, men’s soccer, women’s soccer and volleyball. All fans in attendance have the opportunity to win door prizes.

There will be plenty of activities for young Cavalier fans including a kids’ zone featuring face painting and inflatables.

Parking is free for the event.
