Women's Tennis To Play Winthrop on Feb. 5

CHARLOTTESVILLE – The women’s tennis match between Virginia and Tennessee scheduled for Feb. 5 at the Boar’s Head Sports Club has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict with the Lady Vols. The match will not be made up.

The Cavaliers have replaced Tennessee on the schedule with Winthrop. Virginia will play the Eagles on Feb. 5 at 3 p.m. at the Boar’s Head Sports Club.

“We want to thank Winthrop for playing us on such short notice,” said Virginia head coach Mark Guilbeau. “They have had a tremendous start to the season and we are excited for what should be a great match.”
