CHARLOTTESVILLE — UVa’s new coach, Mike London, is heading out of town with his football team this spring, and that’s good news for fans who live in or near in the Tidewater area.

On Saturday, March 27, at 1:30 p.m., the Cavaliers will have an intrasquad scrimmage at Old Dominion University’s Foreman Field in Norfolk.

After the scrimmage, fans will have an opportunity to meet UVa players and coaches. Also in Norfolk, the staffs from UVa and ODU will hold a coaches’ clinic.

One of London’s new assistants, Chip West, came to UVa from Old Dominion.

Practice starts March 15 for the Cavaliers. It concludes April 10 with the Spring Football Festival at Scott Stadium.

Seven practices will be open, the last of which will be the scrimmage at ODU.

Check VirginiaSports.com for information on dates and times of the open practices.
