CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia-North Carolina baseball game, scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, has been postponed because of inclement weather. The teams will now play a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday.

All tickets for the Friday game will be honored at the second game Saturday. The originally-scheduled game for Saturday will be played first, starting at 1 p.m. and will be televised by the ACC’s Regional Sports Networks. The postponed game will be completed approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game. Reserved seat ticket holders for the Friday game may bring their ticket stubs to the Davenport Field gate for the same seat at the rescheduled game (the second game on Saturday). Please note that since this game has been rescheduled, season ticket holders cannot turn in their tickets for another game.

Each game of the doubleheader will be a separately ticketed event, with tickets for the Friday game valid for the second game Saturday. The seating areas will be cleared between games; fans attending both games will need tickets for each contest and will be re-admitted at the bottom of the stadium seating areas shortly after the conclusion of the first game Saturday.

Both games Saturday will air on WINA 1070-AM and online at VirginiaSports.com.

Tickets remain for all three games in the series and may be ordered online at VirginiaSports.com or at the gate. General Admission seating is available in sections 101, 102, 108 and 109 of the grandstand, the left- and right-field bleachers, the first baseline bleachers and on the grass hillside.

Advance ticket sales online end four hours prior to home baseball games. The ticket booths and gates at Davenport Field open at 11 a.m. on Saturday, and 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.

General Admission tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for youth (18 and under), seniors (60 and older) and faculty/staff (limit two per faculty/staff). Reserved tickets, if turned in by season ticket holders for resale, are available for purchase on game day and are $9 for adults and $5 for UVa faculty/staff (limit two per faculty staff).
