DECATUR, Ill. — Virginia rising sophomore Jarmere Jenkins (College Park, Ga.) won his second career doubles title on the USTA Futures Tour with a victory at the event in Decatur, Illinois. Jenkins teamed with former Wake Forest All-American Todd Paul to win the title at the $10,000 pro event.

In Sunday’s final, Jenkins and Paul won 6-2, 7-5 over Daniel Nguyen, a rising junior at USC, and his partner Michael Grant.

Jenkins also won a doubles title on the Futures Tour in 2009, prior to beginning his collegiate career.

Also on Sunday, two Cavalier alumni won a doubles title. The team of Treat Huey (Class of 2008) and Dominic Inglot (Class of 2009) won the $100,000 Challenger in Vancouver, B.C. It was Huey’s third career doubles title on the ATP Challenger Tour, while Inglot won his first Challenger title.
