MAUI, Hawaii – The 2010 EA SPORTSTM Maui Invitational® hosted by Chaminade University of Honolulu announced on Tuesday (Aug. 24) that remaining school Booster Tickets for the nation’s premier early-season basketball tournament go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, Aug. 25, at 9 a.m. Hawaiian Standard Time (3 p.m. Eastern Standard Time). Booster Tickets are good for entry to all three games at the tournament in which a particular school participates. Tickets can be purchased via the tournament website at mauiinvitational.com only (no phone calls). All-Tournament Ticket Packages are sold out as well as Booster Tickets for Kentucky.

In addition, the following remaining ticket types will go on sale: Partial Booster Tickets for Kentucky, which grant access to that particular school’s Monday and Tuesday games only, and Courtside Booster Tickets. A limited number of All-Tournament Courtside Travel packages with game tickets and hotel accommodations are currently available through Oahu Travel. Tickets are also still available for Sunday’s (Nov. 21) “An Evening with the Coaches: Tip-Off Banquet,” a special dinner and entertainment event featuring the 2010 head coaches and teams. The 27th annual EA SPORTS Maui Invitational will launch the college basketball season with a marquee lineup, including Connecticut, Kentucky, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Virginia, Washington, Wichita State and host Chaminade. Played less than 1,000 yards from the Pacific Ocean at Maui’s Lahaina Civic Center from Nov. 22-24, three former Maui champions, Connecticut (2005), Kentucky (1993) and Michigan State (1991), will return to the islands in search of another Maui title and early-season bragging rights. Three of the seven Division I teams in the 2010 lineup participated in the 2010 NCAA® Tournament, highlighted by runs to the Final Four by Michigan State and Elite Eight by Kentucky.

The ESPN networks will once again offer live television coverage of all tournament games. For the second consecutive year, every game will be produced in high definition on ESPN HD, ESPN2 HD and ESPNU HD, with the ESPN and ESPN2 games also streaming live on ESPN3.com.
