A Variety of Ticket Options Available for Holiday Basketball Games

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – A variety of ticket options are available for upcoming home Virginia men’s and women’s basketball games at John Paul Jones Arena.
The Holiday ‘Hoo Crew package consists of a lower level, reserved bleacher seat in sections 116-119, sections that are normally reserved for students at JPJA, for six home men’s basketball games for $66. The package includes Virginia’s games against Oregon (Dec. 17), Norfolk State (Dec. 20), Seattle (Dec. 22), Iowa State (Dec. 30), LSU (Jan. 2), and Howard (Jan. 4).
Family Package tickets are available for the home men’s basketball games against Oregon (Dec. 17), Seattle (Dec. 22), Iowa State (Dec. 30), and LSU (Jan. 2). Family Package tickets cost $14 each and include a reserved ticket in section 301 or 302, a hot dog, and a 22 oz. soda. A minimum purchase of four tickets is required as part of the Family Package.
Single game tickets are available for each of Virginia’s 15 remaining home men’s basketball games, including UVa’s next home game against Radford on Tuesday, Dec. 7. Men’s basketball single game tickets are priced at $13 or $28. The Cavaliers’ first ACC home game is Saturday, Jan. 8 against North Carolina. A limited number of tickets remain for this contest.
Single game tickets and a six-game mini package are also on sale for home Virginia women’s basketball games. Single game tickets are $9 for reserved seats, $7 for general admission seats for adults, and $5 for general admission seats for youth, seniors, and UVa faculty and staff. Fans may choose any six of the Cavaliers’ remaining 14 home games and receive a reserved seat for $30. The Virginia women’s basketball team hosts Drexel on Saturday, Dec. 4 and Radford on Dec. 6 before the exam break. UVa then plays host to UMBC on Saturday, Dec. 18 and the Marriott Cavalier Classic Dec. 28-29.
Fans can purchase tickets online at VirginiaSports.com or through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. for in-person or telephone purchases.
