CHARLOTTESVILLE – The start of Sunday’s women’s tennis match between Virginia and Virginia Tech has been moved up an hour and will now begin at noon due to the threat of inclement weather. The match is still scheduled to be played outdoors at the Snyder Tennis Center, but could be moved indoors to the Boar’s Head Sports Club if conditions make playing outdoors impossible.

Cavman’s Crew Day, a clinic and festivities for youth scheduled for prior to Sunday’s match has been postponed. It will be rescheduled for a match later in the season.

The eighth-ranked Cavaliers (10-2) will open play this weekend at No. 47 William & Mary on Saturday. Play begins at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center in Williamsburg at 11 a.m. Sunday’s match against the No. 68 Hokies is Virginia’s ACC opener.
