Woodall Ties for Second at North Carolina Amateur

Greensboro, NC – Virginia men’s golfer Bruce Woodall (Yanceyville, N.C.) tied for second place at the 2011 North Carolina Amateur Championships that concluded Sunday at the Greensboro Country Club’s Farm Course. Woodall shot 11-under during the 72-hole tournament, placing three shots behind East Carolina’s Harold Varner.

Woodall had rounds of 73, 69, 66 and 69. Over his final 43 holes he recorded just one bogey while collecting 13 birdies.
