2011 Paint the Town Orange

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia fans are invited to participate in the 2011 Paint the Town Orange celebration on the Charlottesville Downtown Mall from 5-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 2.

The Virginia spirit squads will be set-up near the Downtown Amphitheater starting at 5 p.m. distributing promotional items. The UVa bounce house will also be on site.

The Virginia women’s basketball team and coaching staff will be in the area at approximately 7 p.m. to meet fans.

The Cavalier Marching Band will march up the mall starting at approximately 8 p.m. and arriving at the amphitheater at 8:15 p.m.

Coach London and the football team captains will take the stage and speak to the crowd at approximately 8:20 p.m.

Throughout the day, Virginia’s spirit squads and promotions staff will be looking for fans in orange and blue around Charlottesville to award prizes to Cavalier fans.
