CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Tickets for the Virginia-Virginia Tech wrestling dual match at John Paul Jones Arena will go on sale Monday, Oct. 10, through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office and online at VirginiaSports.com. The Cavaliers and Hokies will wrestle at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 27.

Tickets may be purchased in person at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall, by calling the ticket office at (800) 542-8821 or logging on to VirginiaSports.com. The Virginia Athletics Ticket Office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Tickets for the Virginia Tech dual are $7 for adults and $5 for youth (18 and under), seniors and staff. All tickets are general admission. There is no charge for parking.

Prior to the match there will be a free wrestling clinic, hosted by the UVa wrestling program, at JPJA from 10-11:30 a.m. Entrance to the clinic is free of charge to anyone with a ticket to the dual. Tickets may be purchased at the arena prior to the clinic beginning at 9 a.m.

This dual match will pit a pair of ranked teams as well as several ranked individuals. Virginia Tech is ranked No. 12 in the preseason WIN rankings, while Virginia is ranked No. 21. UVa has six individuals ranked in the preseason WIN rankings, while the Hokies have seven.

Virginia took 24th as a team at the 2011 NCAA Championships, and Virginia Tech placed 33rd.
