Women's Tennis Concludes Play at Bulldog Tennis Classic

ATHENS, Ga. – The Virginia women’s tennis team concluded play at the Bulldog Tennis Classic on Sunday at the Dan Magill Tennis Center, site of this year’s NCAA Championships. The Cavaliers won four singles matches on the final day of play.
Virginia played four matches against West Virginia on the final day, winning all in straight sets. Lindsey Hardenbergh (Fairfax Station, Va.), Erin Vierra (Norwell, Mass.), Caryssa Peretz (Cherry Hill, N.J.) and Molly O’Koniewski (Hilton Head Island, S.C.) all were victorious for the Cavaliers.
The Cavaliers will return to action this week as they travel to Norfolk, Va., for the 2011 ITA Atlantic Regional, hosted by Old Dominion. The tournament begins Friday and runs through Tuesday.
