Alpharetta, GA – The 13th-ranked Virginia men’s golf team shot 15-over 303 and dropped to 13th place after the second round of play at the U.S. Collegiate Championships taking place at The Golf Club of Georgia. The Cavaliers’ two-day total stands at 24-over 600. Georgia Tech leads the field at 566 followed by UCLA at 569.

Bruce Woodall led UVa in the second round with a 1-over 73. He is in 46th place at 5-over 149. Denny McCarthy is one shot ahead of McCarthy in 41st place. He posted a 2-over 74 Monday. Ben Kohles is in 51st place at 150. He shot 75 during the second round. Ji Soo Park dropped back to 66th at 154 following an 82. Mac McLaughlin is in 72nd place at 157. He carded an 81 Monday.

Virginia will tee off at 9:50 a.m. during Tuesday’s final round. Live scoring is at Golfstat.com. A live webcast will pick up the action starting at 2 p.m.
