CHARLOTTESVILLE — Virginia alumni Treat Huey and Dominic Inglot won the doubles title at the Virginia National Bank Men’s Pro Tennis Championship, an ATP Challenger Tour event at the Boar’s Head Sports Club. It was the third career Challenger Tour title for the duo.

Huey and Inglot, who were a wild card entry into the field, won four matches to take the title. They defeated Greg Jones and Pierre-Ludovic Duclos in the first round, Rik de Voest and Izak van der Merwe in the quarterfinals, second-seeded Jordan Kerr and David Martin in the semifinals, and fourth-seeded John Paul Fruttero and Raven Klaasen in the final.

Huey, who moved up to a career-high No. 56 in this week’s ITA Doubles Rankings, won his 12th career Challenger Tour doubles title. Inglot, who was playing his first tournament in nearly a year due to injury, who his third career Challenger Tour doubles title.
