Television Announced for Virginia-Virginia Tech Football Game

Charlottesville, VA – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today Saturday’s 3:30 p.m. football game between Virginia and Virginia Tech will be shown regionally on ABC. In parts of the country that do not receive the ABC broadcast, the game will air on ESPN2, ensuring a national television audience for the game.

The winner will claim the ACC’s Coastal Division title and advance to the ACC Championship game Dec. 3 in Charlotte to face Atlantic Division champion Clemson at 8 p.m.

Virginia enters the game with an 8-3 record including a 5-2 mark in the Coastal Division. Virginia Tech is 10-1, 6-1 in the division.
