Perdue, a native of Greenville, N.C., returned to the pool Saturday vs. rival North Carolina for the first time in seven weeks, helping the Cavaliers to a 170-130 victory in a dual meet over the 15th-ranked Tar Heels. She was victorious in the 50 freestyle (22.97, ‘B’) and 100 freestyle (50.22) and also anchored the 400 freestyle relay team to victory with a NCAA ‘B’ time of 3:23.53.
