Virginia-Towson Game in Weather Delay

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia-Towson game has been delayed because of severe weather. After the game was delayed at 6:24 p.m., it will resume at 8 p.m.

After scoring eight runs in the bottom of the first inning, Virginia holds an 8-3 lead in the top of the second inning. The game was halted with two outs in the second inning. UVa pitcher Barrett O’Neill has a 1-1 count against Pat Fitzgerald.
