Virginia Sports Radio Network to Carry Saturday Baseball Games

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – For the first time the Virginia Sports Radio Network will carry several Virginia Baseball games this spring. The network will carry a Saturday game of the week for each UVa Saturday contest the rest of the regular season.

Coverage begins Saturday with Virginia’s 6:30 p.m. game at No. 9 NC State. Dave Koehn, the Voice of the Cavaliers, will have the call.

Six stations across the state will carry the Saturday games:
– 1070 AM WINA, Charlottesville
– 97.9 FM WZZU, Lynchburg
– 1370 WHEE AM, Martinsville
– 790 AM WSVG, Mt Jackson
– 910 AM WRNL, Richmond (when no conflict with Flying Squirrels’ games)
– 1340 AM WHAP, Hopewell

The seven Saturday games on the network are:
March 31 at NC State, 6:30 p.m.
April 7 vs. Wake Forest, 4 p.m.
April 14 vs. North Carolina, 4 p.m.
April 21 at Duke, 2 p.m.
April 28 at Miami, 1 p.m.
May 12 vs. Georgia Tech, 1 p.m.
May 19 at Maryland, 1 p.m.
