CHARLOTTESVILLE – The ninth-ranked Virginia women’s lacrosse team hosts Harvard on Monday (April 2) in its regular-season home finale. The contest is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., and live statistics can be accessed at VirginiaSports.com.

Virginia (8-4, 2-2 ACC) has won four-consecutive games and is coming off a 12-10 victory over No. 20 Boston College on Saturday (March 31). At Klöckner Stadium this season, Virginia holds a 6-1 record.

Josie Owen (Gibson Island, Md.) leads Virginia with 51 points (22 goals and 29 assists), followed by Sloan Warren (Philadelphia, Pa.) with 26 points (21 goals and five assists) and Julie Gardner (Severna Park, Md.) with 21 points (12 goals and nine assists).

Defenders Megan Dunleavy (Fairfax Station, Va.) and Kelsey Gahan (Towson, Md.) are the team’s leaders in caused turnovers with 10 apiece.

Harvard (4-5, 1-2 Ivy League) is coming off a 10-6 loss vs. Syracuse on March 31. Melanie Baskind leads the team with 21 points (16 goals and five assists).

Virginia has a 5-0 record all-time vs. Harvard. Last season on the road, Virginia came away with a 19-18 victory. In that game, Charlie Finnigan (Twickenham, Middlesex, England), Owen and Ainsley Baker (Corning, N.Y.) each had four goals.

Following Monday’s game, Virginia travels to Virginia Tech for its final regular-season conference game on Saturday (April 7) at 1 p.m.
