Fall Scrimmage Schedule

CHARLOTTESVILLE –

Virginia head women’s lacrosse coach Julie Myers announced her team’s “fall ball” scrimmage schedule.

As part of the preparation for the 2013 season, the team will play unofficial scrimmages on five dates during its fall training schedule, including three contests to be played in Charlottesville at the University Hall Turf Field.

On Sunday, Sept. 23, the team will play a pair of scrimmages against Penn State (2:15) and Maryland (3:30) in a tournament in College Park, Md. The Cavaliers will also play in a Washington, DC on Sunday, Oct. 14 in a tournament featuring scrimmages against Ohio State (11), Stanford (12), and Georgetown (2).

Virginia will host three scrimmages at Turf Field, all taking place on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. The Cavaliers will host Richmond (Sept. 26), James Madison (Oct. 3), and William & Mary (Oct. 17).

The scrimmages will be open to the public and fans are invited to get a sneak peak at the 2013 team.
