Softball Plays Fall Ball Doubleheader on Sunday

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia softball team hosts Delaware in an exhibition doubleheader on Sunday, Oct. 14 at 2 p.m. at The Park. Admission is free.

The pair of exhibition games are the final for the team during their fall training.

The Cavaliers went 26-25 in 2012. The team returns the top hitter from last season, junior infielder Erica Cipolloni, and All-ACC second team pitcher Melanie Mitchell.

Note: A complete recap of the fall season will be published in late October at the end of Fall Ball. Individual recaps and stats for the scrimmages will not be posted.
