CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.—The Virginia volleyball team travels to Virginia Tech for its final match of the season Friday (Nov. 23) at 7 p.m. in Blacksburg, Va.

The Cavaliers (9-21, 3-17 ACC) dropped two Atlantic Coast Conference matches last weekend, falling to NC State and North Carolina, 3-0.

Freshman Natalie Bausback (Carlsbad, Calif.) was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team earlier this week. Bausback leads UVa with 292 kills, 27 aces and is third on the squad with 153 digs. The 292 kills is the ninth-most in Virginia freshman history. The outside hitter recorded a season-high 22 kills and seven blocks in a four-set win against Wake Forest on Oct. 20.

Senior Jessica O’Shoney (Austin, Texas) enters her final collegiate match ranking eighth in both total career blocks (402) and career assist blocks (343).

Virginia Tech (20-8, 10-7 ACC) won the previous matchup, 3-0, on Sept. 14 in Charlottesville. UVa leads the all-time series, 30-27.
