Charlottesville, Va. – This weekend the Virginia men’s golf team heads to Awendaw, S.C. for its annual appearance at the Hootie @ Bulls Bay tournament that runs Sunday, March 24 through Tuesday, March 26. The 54-hole tournament is held at the par-72, 7,282-yard Bulls Bay Golf Club. The event is named for country music entertainer Darius Rucker, the former front man for the popular band Hootie and the Blowfish.

This year’s field is as strong as any in recent history as 10 of the 15 teams are ranked in Golfstat’s top-50 poll. Eleventh-ranked Duke highlights the field along with No. 15 LSU.
