CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia attacker Dana Boyle (R-So., Londonderry, N.H.), defender Megan Dunleavy (Sr., Fairfax Station, Va.) and midfielder Courtney Swan (So., Vero Beach, Fla.) were named to the 20-member 2013 All-ACC Women’s Lacrosse Team, as announced today by the conference office. The team is determined by a vote of the league’s six head coaches.

Boyle has played in all 16 games for the Cavaliers, scoring 22 goals, including a pair of game winners, with three assists. Boyle leads the team with 77 shots.

Dunleavy, one of UVa’s team captains, anchors the Cavalier defense. In her four-year Cavaliers’ career, she has picked up 55 ground balls, including 16 this season, with 17 draw controls and 26 caused turnovers. She logged her first career assist on senior day in the victory over Virginia Tech. Dunleavy is one of 10 Tewaaraton Award candidates to earn All-ACC honors this season.

Swan has been a dominant force on the draw control, ranking fourth in the ACC and 32nd in the NCAA with 3.64 per game. Swan also ranks third on the team with 23 goals and 32 points, having earned at least a point in all but one game this season. She paces the Cavaliers with 20 ground balls.

This is the first All-Conference recognition for all three players.
