CHARLOTTESVILLE – The Virginia men’s tennis team had three players named All-Americans on Thursday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Jarmere Jenkins (College Park, Ga.) and Alex Domijan (Wesley Chapel, Fla.) were named singles All-Americans, while Jenkins and Mac Styslinger (Birmingham, Ala.) were named doubles All-Americans.

This season marks the fourth consecutive year that the Cavaliers have had at least three players earn All-America honors. Styslinger earned the accolade for the first time in his career, becoming the 15th All-American in Virginia history.

Domijan earned All-America honors in singles for the third time in his career, joining Brian Vahaly and Somdev Devvarman as the only three-time singles All-Americans in school history. The junior went 37-6 this season and ended the year with a No. 4 national ranking.

Jenkins was both a singles and doubles All-American for the second straight season. The 2013 NCAA Singles Championship runner-up, he concluded his senior season with a 42-6 record and a No. 1 national ranking.

NCAA Doubles Champions Jenkins and Styslinger were named doubles All-Americans after posting a 29-7 record this season. The duo ended the season ranked No. 2 in the national rankings.

To earn All-America status in singles a player must be a top 16 seed in the NCAA Singles Championship, reach the round of 16 of the NCAA Singles Championship, or be ranked in the top 20 of the final ITA rankings. To earn All-America status in doubles, a team must be a top eight seed in the NCAA Doubles Championship, reach the quarterfinals of the NCAA Doubles Championship, or be ranked in the top 10 of the final ITA rankings.
